Anupam Diwan was born & raised in Chhattisgarh (India). His works are drawn from the notions of home, memories and identity, alongside reflecting upon the relationships between human & nature, personal spaces & landscapes. Followed by sketching, he started taking pictures early during mid-school, from a camera bought for the family trip. Soon after receiving a degree in engineering, he moved to Mumbai to pursue photography as a profession. Following an interest in storytelling, he studied at Pathshala South Asian Media Institute, Bangladesh in 2016-17. Currently, he is based in Pune (India) working as an independent photographer.
